Tape burn worse than the stitches

So I gave birth on 4/23 to my beautiful baby boy, Clark via emergency C-section. They kept the dressing on an additional day because I have a bleeding issue and they were concerned about a hematoma. When they finally removed it it ripped up all my skin with it and it was excruciating and it was all red and irritated and I was told I had bad tape burn and to just be gentle with it. Well 4/30 I went to the gyno to remove the stri-strips and they also gave me horrific tape burn! So I still have the tape burn from the dressings and now I have it around my scar as well. Anyone have a similar problem? Any advice on how to lessen the pain?
