Help me figure this out

How will you explain this...?All of the sudden your boyfriend that you been dating for almost four years told you that he needs a break? Everything was going good, you guys talk almost everyday on the phone, you go by the house and make food, clean cook and other stuff but all of the sudden he went to a different city, came back with a whole different attitude towards you and told you that he needs a break to figure out what he needs in his life and how he can put his life back on track. How do you explain that ladies? He even went ahead and took his house keys away from you saying that he want to use it. And then he stop picking up your calls. Whenever u call, he doesn’t answer, call u back or even response to your texts.
