Do you stop giving formula completely once baby turns 1 ?

Also, do you (personally) just give cows milk in a sippy cup or still give it to baby in a bottle?? 
My daughter is only 9 months but I’m just wondering what other mommas do once baby turns one...

We stopped bottles at 10 months and started the transition to almond milk at 11 months. Our daughter has been trying to wean herself since she was 9 months so now we’re working on it. she’s just over 11 months now and we’ve dropped two of her four formula feedings. We hope to be 100% off formula by her birthday.

Started transitioning to cow's milk at 11 months (doctor approved) and did a VERY slow transition. I'd say a week after their first birthday I did the complete switched and it was sooo easy they took it very well.

We started weaning at 11 months. He’s almost weaned. He has pea milk in the morning with breakfast and water or pea milk with dinner but still has a cup that’s half formula half pea milk at lunch with a small portion of food. We also stopped using bottles completely around 9 months. We use the 360 cups and sometimes straw cups. 
We didnt dow cows milk bc of a lactose intolerance.

My LO is 17 months and still has 1 bottle of formula a day, she drinks it at 3am and it helps her sleep through the night. She doesn’t drink cows milk, just water but eats a balanced diet that included yogurt and cheese

Around 8 months I gave my daughter sippy cups to play with an during feeding times of baby food I would put milk in them an let her get used to them. When she turned one I took the bottle an pacifier away an she did t even realize it since I slowly transitioned her to the sippy.

we used the last bit of formula but after that we didn't buy any more,  we tried 1%,2% milk he couldn't handle it so we tried whole milk.  he loves it

We are approaching 1 as well (almost 11 months) and I’m not sure exactly what we’ll do but probably start introducing milk slowly and removing formula as her eating becomes more balanced and regular. Definitely not just a hard stop at 1.

I think it depends on the baby and the parent. Some people do a total switch one day and it works. Personally I like to follow my baby’s lead and take things slow. I started slowly transitioning to cows milk the weekend before he turned 1 (like 6 oz formula 2 oz milk for a couple days then 4 & 4 and so on). He was fine with the slow switch and it was less than 2 weeks before he was on milk only and apparently he didn’t like bottles without formula because he dropped his last bottle the same day it was 100% milk. I never took away his bottles, I waited until he started to refuse them, but he was never a comfort eater his bottles were always after he woke up so he never associated them with bedtime.

I started giving my son cow's milk a few months before he turned 1.. (Yes, he still got formula). I wanted to get him used to it so that I could completely stop formula at 1. & I threw all his bottles in the trash 2 weeks after he turned 1. I didn't want him attached to a bottle.

I wouldn’t do any major switches. I think it’s probably best to slowly introduce something new. That way baby has a better chance of accepting it.
