Birth story

After a long and crazy 2 weeks I finally have time to announce the arrival of my baby boy.

I was induced on April 25th and from the start of the first given cytotec to the delivery (vaginally) of my son it was a long 26 hours. After labor my son had to stay in NICU because his jaundice levels jumped from a 9 to a 17 in the span of 24 hrs. I also had to stay longer because during labor I lost 1800 ml of blood with the normal being 500 ml. I had to have 2 blood transfusions. My hemoglobin levels got down to a 7, 6 is detrimental, 11/12 is normal. Over the last 2 weeks he has had multiple pediatrician check ups and is everything is okay and we’re finally both doing good.
