Ovary cyst question

Has anyone had to have a cyst removed on their ovary and was still able to have kids after? My best friend thinks this might have to happen to her and told me it happened to her mom and she went into early menopause and couldn’t have kids after. She’s been bleeding heavy and frequent periods. She would still have a good ovary left I would think right? Or could this put her into menopause depending on the severity? I have no clue, I’m just trying to get some good news for her hopefully if this is the case.
