Makeup and delivering?

This may sound dumb but I was thinking of putting on some light makeup before I delivered, we were going to have pictures done. Has any woman considered wearing makeup? Or tried and it failed?

I planned on doing a light beat after I deliver for the sake of pictures but I know I’m not going to have any on for delivery 😂 mascara is gonna be everywhere, I’m gon look like I’m melting by the face 😂🤦🏽‍♀️ yea no

I wore foundation and blush only just so I could get some pictures without feeling too self conscious. I’m happy I did so because I didn’t have eye makeup sweating off my face and my pictures with my baby felt natural but I still was confident to share them. Do whatever makes YOU feel confident!

I have worn makeup all three times I have delivered. I plan on doing it again. Do what makes you feel good mama!!

After being awake for around 44 hours, 28hours with contractions, and about 4of them in a hot tub, wearing a not so beautiful hospital gown and mesh underwear, make up was not even in my thoughts a split second.

I had lash extensions all through my pregnancy and still had them on through labour. Semi permanent so they stayed on throughout and I didn’t feel self conscious about my naked face on the pictures.

When the pain starts it will be the last thing on your mind! Just touch them up slightly maybe?

I really don’t think that will last. If you’re having photos done DURING delivery, then you probably won’t care about how your face looks. Maybe after the baby is out you can clean up a little but these photos to me, are supposed to be raw beauty

I wanted to look half decent but after 29 hours of labour I was a sweaty mess 😂

I was sweating and throwing up so all my makeup just came off because I had my mom and the nurse wiping my face. You really want to be as comfortable as you can. 
Maybe you can have some he day after with some light makeup? But I recommend no mascara because I looked like a raccoon. Up to you though!
