Enough money?

Does a man in the military make enough money to support s family without the wife working?
Edit: I am 5 months pregnant and contemplating on leaving my job to be a stay at home mom until grade school.

I stay home with our one son. 
I’m ttc baby #2. 
We live on post. We do great. 
I plan on goin g back to work but not right now. Even not living on post I know what to spend on food , bills. I’ve done it before. I know how to manage what we have. So we do fine. Yes more money would be great but we live fine on 1 income.

Yes it’s possible just have to be disciplined. My husband is an E-5 we have a 20 month old and a baby due in July. We own a home off post. Just have to prioritize what is important for your family

We've been doing it for 2 years now! We started on E3 pay and were just fine! Now we do it on E4 pay with 2 littles and TTC #3! But I will tell you that after this PCS, I will be returning to work! I love my kids, but I can't sit at home all day anymore🙃

You can do it on an E5 pay you just have to spend wisely and budget, budget, budget. There’s a lot of resources for military spouses make sure to take advantage.
