deployment talking

My boyfriend deployed out 3 months ago. This is my first time being with someone deployed and his 3rd deployment. we are on month 3 now of the deployment.

first couple of months were ok, we had a few talks back and forth about staying communicative. setting times to have a full converstation, instead of feeling like we have to chat all day long. we talk on FB messenger which gives us alot of freedom to talk. good and bad thing i think. it took me a min to cone to realize , just because we are both online doesnt mean we have to force a conversation. But we have been doing good with it. we call and video chat when both free.

I got used to getting little texts throughout the day from him. After work he really doesnt have much to do. just working out and computer stuff,

movies. today he got his playstation I sent him. He literally played like 4 hours,fell asleep and didnt even say goodnight. which is a big thing. he always says goodnight. but he was short with me all day. playing games.

my question is anyone else had this problem? am I just being selfish? should i just let him have his fun and not worry?

I just missed talking to him like our normal and fear that all this is changing now.
