Any one from NYC and pay crazy rent??

I live in a 3 bedroom apartment and pay 2,500$ of rent a month! I’ve been living here my whole life I don’t know how I will feel in another state but I think I need to get out of here because the rent in New York is crazy 🙁 but I’ve always wonder why other states have cheaper rent??

depends on what city or state you live in. we live in nc and pay 1700 for a 4 bedroom 3 full bath 2888 sq foot house with a 2 car garage, and 2 acres fully privacy fenced in with a inground pool, swing set, and 3 decks
