Contractions

I have been having what I thought was Braxton Hicks since yesterday morning, but last night they turned up a notch in pain, I was able to sleep threw them and again today still having them they range from 5-20 minutes apart and I feel baby pushing down I’ve been having brownish mucus discharge. Is it normal to take this long?? This is my Fifth child and yes the pain hurts a bit for 30 seconds then goes away so they’re not crazy back to back, when I lay down it feels worse, I’m trying to stay walking around because I feel them but they don’t hurt nearly as bad and I have to stop walking cause feels like I’m gonna poop myself from pressure. Lol just wanna know if it’s normal.

My first was a surprise so only had a stomach ache

Second my water leaked no contractions till 5 hours later

3rd contractions started at my dr appointment and they didn’t hurt he still hooked me up to monitors and then started pitocin to speed it up

4th I was induced at 41 weeks

This One I’m trying to go in naturally and when my body is ready. I’m about 20 minutes from the hospital and 20 away from the nearest paramedics.

I’m not sure how much pain I should be in. It does take my breath away but I’m not toppled over in pain just have to stop what I’m doing and 30 seconds later it lets up.
