Homebirth Unassisted

Start to finish 1hr 34min.

Today was a normal day like all the others. Did a lot of in bed watching tv. At around 6:40pm i felt a couple strong contractions (nothing new) I called my mom just to give a heads up that it might be the real thing, but unsure. While on the phone at 7:06pm my water broke!!! I was shocked!! She is 2hrs away! Called my SO, he was also a good 2hrs away working. Had my oldest call the list of friends.

I got the pool set up and all my stuff out. Around 20min or less my contractions picked up, but nothing i couldn't handle. I cant recall how long until i felt i had to poop ( i really did poop on toilet) I went and all of a sudden i felt she was about to crown! I didnt even have transition. The contractions were super easy and manageable so i was so confused how she could be crowning already.

Rushed back to the birth pool and so soon after she was coming out. One push her head was out, second push and she was delivered.

This is baby #3 first homebirth! I can't believe how easy this was and how amazing it all went. She does have a nasty lip tie, but otherwise nursing great with a lil pain at time of latch. Having revised asap. I am so glad i chose to go unassisted because it was totally worth doing it all on my own! P.s both mom and so missed the birth. Lol
