IUI after failed IVFs
Hi ladies...just wanted to share my story to get some encouragement and maybe advice. After doing five rounds of IVF in my very late 30s with absolutely no luck, not even a chemical pregnancy, my husband and I got pregnant last March 2017 at age 40 completely naturally. That was my first pregnancy, but unfortunately it ended at it seven weeks with a miscarriage. Now, over a year later, we are seeing a different Doctor who is starting from scratch and thinks that IUI might be a better option for us. We never tried IUI before IVF bc I had tubal issues which have since been resolved. Any encouragement or advice about doing things this way? I feel like we are going backward, and that IUI I has a very low success rate. But, I’ve also read that IVF doesn’t work for everyone, and maybe I just wasn’t a good responder. Any advice or encouragement would be appreciated!! :))) thank you 😊
