Tips for getting my almost 3 year old to sleep in his own bed??

I have a one month old who co sleeps also and the bed is just way too crammed.

I’ve tried helping him fall asleep in his own bed, letting him fall asleep in my bed and then transferring him to his bed, I’ve tried melatonin.

No matter what I try, he wakes up in the middle of the night and won’t go back to sleep until I let him get in my bed.

I can’t take being kicked in the back and smacked in the face in the middle of the night anymore.
