Thrush Stories

Hey ladies! My little guy is 2 weeks old, and we have had a interesting first two weeks! When he was a week old I made an appointment with a LC to check out his latch. This is my second time BFing so I knew the pain I was feeling was not normal. Well turns out he has a lip tie. Two days later, we find out we both have thrush. Between thrush and the lip tie my nipples were absolutely destroyed so my LC suggested I pump and do bottles until we get the lip fixed (which we did today!) my nipples have improved a ton after 4 days of just pumping. Well I finally nursed my sweet boy this afternoon and while the pain was better, it was still there. Then following the feeding I started to have deep pains in my breast that lasted a few hours pretty much.

So long story short- looking to hear the symptoms you experienced with thrush and also how you treated.
