Lavender is proven to calm anxiety. Try lavender essential oil in an oil diffuser. Or even try putting a dab of lavender oil below your nose. Or trying lavender bubble baths!

5 THINGS

Find 5 things you can see, 5 things you can touch, 5 things you can hear, and 5 things you can smell. This makes your brain focus on something other than your anxiety.

RUBBERBAND

If you’re having a panic attack, trying flicking a rubberband against your wrist. Inflicting pain causes your body to turn its focus towards the pain instead of the anxiety.

BREATHING

Take slow deep breaths. Close your eyes and tell yourself you’re safe and everything is ok. Sometimes getting your breathing under control helps ease anxiety.
