My son just turned 7 months and we are getting him his first pair of shoes. What size do I look for and what kind?

just take him to Wal Mart and try some on. They grow out of them so quick there's no sense in getting anything fancy. Especially when they're not walking.

baby shoes have the months that they are on them to help the mom's to pick. so just give you an idea his a picture of what I meanxD

also be aware some baby's have fatter feet then others so always go a size up if that's the problem. xD

At that age my daughter was in soft leather sole shoes. I loved bobux, you can get them on amazon and in Whole Foods. They are sold in S, M, L by months. These were the shoes she used for crawling and learned to walk in.

I think Striderite has an online printable to measure size, on Amazon. Those are the only shoes we bought for our son for about six months (age 11 months on).

Always get babies feet measured before buying shoes (or fitting them yourself). Their feet are continuously growing and if their shoes are ill fitted then you can cause there little toes to bend the wrong way!

take baby with you my son is a size 3 in sandals but a size 4 or 5 in shoes🤷‍♀️

Take him with you and measure his foot with the shoe and try it on. I will usually try a sandle first so I can see where his toes are in the shoe to determine size
