Is his mom an issue or is he the issue?

So me and my boyfriend have lived together for 10 months and we have been together for a year but recently I had to leave his house cause we were staying with his parents and his mom asked me to leave. I am currently staying with my dad and it’s an hour drive to see me now. His mom knows this too. And the day after I left his mom hid his car keys so he couldn’t leave and today she blocked his car in the driveway and once he got his car out the driveway she tells him to help her instead and she knew he was going to come see me. Although he was suppose to see me yesterday, he didn’t because he was too busy and it got really late. I just don’t know what to think. I know his mom doesn’t really like me but she shouldn’t have the right to tell her son who he can or cannot hangout with. It’s very unfair to me. Another thing is that before I lived with him he use to come over all the time and spend the night and it was just a blast but now he tries to spend the night and his mom threatens him to take his car from him (which he pays for) and she’s always blowing his phone up every 30 minuets. I just think it’s too much cause I would like some time with him too but I think she’s trying to split us up. What do you guys think?
