Am I right to be annoyed.

We’re having a party today and my husband just left to go get his friend (it’s 10am) the party isn’t until two and we have to finish setting up and prepping food. I asked why he’s picking his friend up so early when we have so much to do and he said “because I haven’t seen him in a while so we can hang out before and after the party” like what tf. So I’m supposed to set everything up alone while they hang out
