‼️BOYFRIEND ADVICE 🙄🙄please help me

background info: my boyfriend and i have been together for almost a year now and we are seniors in high school..

we are teens obviously. so people hit on us often. we live in a big city, so i get cat called in the streets, at school, etc. there are certain boys who will text me and tell me i’m pretty and just RANDOM compliments like that and i don’t reply, but i don’t delete them because i’d feel like i’m hiding things from my boyfriend. no big deal. but when he hears of guys hitting on me, or i tell him, or he witnesses it, it is MY fault. not theirs, mine. he gets mad at me and doesn’t talk to me when any other guy gives me the time of day. i just laugh them off and reassure my boyfriend that they’re losers who should leave me alone, but it doesn’t lighten the mood. he will ignore me, be sassy, rude, sharp tongued, and i just don’t know if i should let him act this way towards me or is it not okay of him to?? i just don’t know.
