Ok well let’s get to it

Ok well let’s get to it. My pregnancy was a pretty easy pregnancy can’t really complain mild nausea in the beginning and a bit of heart burn in the third trimester other than those two it was a good easy pregnancy. At 35 weeks I started feeling Braxton Hicks but nothing out of the ordinary. At 36 weeks I went in to labor and delivery because my Braxton Hicks got a bit more severe and I thought I was in labor. This is my third pregnancy and it was a scheduled csection set to happen at 39 weeks on June 15th. When I went to labor and delivery they said that the consistent contractions were normal and that I wasn’t in labor so back home I went. 2 days later I started bleeding and it wasn’t my mucous plug or light spotting, it was full on bleeding like a period. So back to labor and delivery I went they checked again and said that as long as I wasn’t soaking more than 2 pads per hour I could go back home. Something didn’t feel right but feeling defeated we went back home. On the way home I happened to bump into my regular doctor and she asked me what I was doing at the hospital, I explained it to her and she said she was almost sure I was having a placenta abruption and that they wouldn’t be able to see that through an ultrasound. She made me get lab work and my blood levels were lower than my previous results. The next day I went to go see my doctor and she told me that if I started to hemorrhage to go to my nearest hospital or call 911. We’ll sure enough the next day I started hemorrhaging I went straight to the hospital and had an emergency csection at 36 weeks 6 days. My baby was really tiny he weighed 5.7 and was 18 inches long. The moment I heard him cry I was so relived. The whole time I was hemorrhaging I was praying and asking god to please let my baby have oxygen. I was so scared of having a still born, since most people who have placenta abruptions usually ended up with one. Luckily we are blessed to say we made it and the outcome was a beautiful baby boy.
