Bummed :/
So we rented a place about 2 months ago. It's three bedrooms but it's super tiny. We didn't have much when we rented but since then people have given us furniture and baby stuff cause I'm 22 weeks pregnant. Well, we were starting to worry that we wouldn't have enough room. We went to a friends town home on the 4th, and it's huge! They had an open one next to them, never been lived in, in our price range.
As I said we JUST rented our place. Well we were discussing how we might be able to get out of the lease when we heard a knock on the door! A lady came to our apartment and wanted to know if there were any openings in our duplexes. And so we told her we might be wanting to leave (I didn't think this was a coincidence) and she said to call the landlord and see if taking over our lease was an option. Called it was. So.... We called the landlord of our friends town homes. No answer, left a message. Called again. Wife answers, she thinks it's rented but unsure. Got a call today and sure enough he JUST rented it yesterday... Around the time I called. I'm so bummed. It was everything we needed and we have looked around.... Everything else is either the same size or out of our price range..... So upset.
