Am I suppose to be upset that my man didn't ask me to pick him up from the airport?

My boyfriend has been away for 8 days in Dubai. We live in Florida(not together). We were able to communicate via text messages over that time, but I missed him so much. He is returning today, but he didn't ask me to pick him up. I volunteered to pick him and and he said, "it's ok babe".

If he can flew to other part of world then he can easily reach home from airport. Some time boys do not want their ladies to go extra miles for them. I travel a lot but i do not want my wife to come to airport to pock me up.

Shoot... I never go 😂 we have two kids and the airport is an hour+ drive. He’d rather Uber home to happy kids than me drag “the whole clan” out to meet him. Don’t be offended, he’s probably just trying to save you the hassle!

It really doesn't matter if you "should be" or "shouldn't be." You seem to be upset by it, so you should try to communicate that to him (without jumping down his throat about it.) Just explain that you really missed him and that it hurt your feelings that he didn't want you to pick him up from the airport. Maybe he just didn't want to inconvenience you. Either way, just talk to him about it.

My husband always tells me he can get home from the airport himself by cab. He doesn’t want to make me sit through traffic and waiting for potential delays and would rather have a few minutes to himself to readjust before he gets home. I’m the same way, so I don’t think anything of it. He may just be being thoughtful.
