Am I jealous??

Question

So my husband and I have been trying to have a baby for a little over four years now and still have not had a baby yet! We go to his mothers house and cone to find out his brothers wife is pregnant with her first baby and they have been trying for two years. Is it bad that I don’t want to hear anything about it or even see her??

2 years is a long time too. It's ok to feel that way but 2 years is long too. You can bet they'd feel the same if you got pregnant. You just need to be an adult about it.

i completely understand. hubby and I have been ttc for 5 years now and 2 years ago his irresponsable brother in law and his gf got pregnant just like that by accident. I cried my eyes off when she had the baby. they're not even taking good care of that little girl. My heart breaks when I see my hubby with her. So yeah its normal. I hope and pray you get pregnant soon.

Totally normal. My brother and his wife have been trying but not trying (she’s a recovering alcoholic so I think it’s a no pressure approach) for a few years and we just announced we’re pregnant with our 2nd.
It seems weird I’m giving my perspective on this but what I wanted to say is that I was very nervous and honestly hated telling them the news but it would have been worse if I didn’t. I don’t talk about my pregnancy when we get together and ask my parents not to share anything unless my brother or his wife asks. 
It’s perfectly normal you feel this way and you shouldn’t feel bad. I’m sorry it hasn’t been easy for you and I wish you the best of luck!

Totally understandable. I’ve had the same feelings when literally ALL my friends started becoming pregnant, and my husband and I had been struggling. I just had to remember that them being pregnant has nothing to do with me and my struggles, it is not their fault that we weren’t getting pregnant. I calmed down, relaxed and became happy for them. After a little over a year of trying. I just found out yesterday that I am pregnant! It will happen girl, when it’s the right time. Wishing you baby dust❤️

You’re feelings on this are absolutely normal. One of my biggest fears is that my siblings will get pregnant before i do. I wouldn’t even know how to handle it 😭
