Diva cup opinion
so I decided to invest in the diva cup cuz aa you all know tampons are not cheap and are still taxed in the us. in a effort to save money and create less waist I bought this little cup for 30 at target and this is my take on it. I am on day 2 of using it. (TMI warning) my periods are usually long (5 to 7 days) but not usually to heavy when I use tampons but with the diva cup 2 days in I have do leakes during the day if I insert it correctly. it's much harder than one would think to get this thing in. my cervix is really high up and tilted so when I put mine in it has to go way up there and I have to find my cervix to make sure it covers the opening to catch the blood. on top of it kinda being hard to insert, emptying it is full blown nasty. if you're at home you have no problems cuz you have a sink in your bathroom but when you're at work or school and have to use a public restroom you have to leave the stall with blood covered hands and wash the cup and your hands. to make matters worse sleepin with this thing in is a nightmare. I got up 3 separate time through the night cuz while I lay down the blood will sneak past the cup. my over all take of five this product a 2.3 out of 5. it does work during the day when its inserted correctly and you dont need to change it often. but it's not of people who dont have a normal cervix, its nasty to clean, and doesn't work laying down.
