If you do some additional research, it's actually all antibiotics taken during pregnancy and early infant-hood that increase the chances of a child having autism. Yes, there are many other factors, such as genetic links and other external factors that come into play, and I don't want to downplay that, but I encourage everyone, especially mammas to be, to be extremely cautious about antibiotic usage. They are overprescribed by doctors for every ailment and should only be taken when absolutely necessary. Additionally, antibiotics are regularly given to animals in slaughter houses. Close, closed in quarters, living in filth, disease would spread like rapidfire if they didn't, so they pump it into these animals, and then we eat them. They're in our meat, milk, eggs, poultry.. It's definitely something to be thought about and something we should do our best to avoid. Farm fresh, organic, and raised without the use of hormones and antibiotics are all things to look for while that delicate baby is developing!
