Going back to work...
I know I've been very fortunate living in Canada and being able to take a year of maternity leave. And my workplace allowed me to add some of my vacation days to my time off so I get a couple extra weeks on top of that.
Having said that, I plan on going back to work in about a month and need some tips adjusting to the change.
My son is breastfed and is not too fussy with solids, but he does expect breastmilk to top off every meal. And despite some efforts, he is still feeding every two hours, except at night. He has also recently become very clingy - he's a very social baby but over the last week he will watch me even when he's with someone else.
My mom will be watching him while I'm working, and he's attached to her so that's all fine, but he does get cranky if he doesn't get his milk so...yeah, I'm worried. I also hope to breastfeed mornings and evenings (on top of his solids) until he's 18 months.
So yeah...any tips ladies? Even if they're not food related? Thanks!
