Vacation to beach at 6-8 weeks ? Driving in truck and camping in our trailer.

My husband and I want to take a beach vacation in our camper with our daughter. Our camper has everything we need ( like a house on wheels). It would be around 9 hours driving.

She’s five weeks now and we would go when she’s 6-8 weeks. Are we crazy or is this ok?

I took my 4 month old camping in a similar camper last year and it was definitely difficult but doable!

The camper part will be ok.  The drive part may or may not suck depending on how well the baby does in the car.
We are taking our 3 week old camping about a 2.5 hour drive away this weekend.  I’m not going to lie - I am nervous about it.  The last two days she morphed into cranky baby...between that and the humidity...things could get fun.

make sure to take any important documents for your little one as well as any medical supplies you may need. go ahead and find the nearest hospital to where youre parking, just in case, use sunscreen and have fun!!
