Are Muslim Converts disliked?

Assalamu Alaikum ladies ❤ How do you all feel about Muslim converts? Are they annoying? Would you rather not be friends with them? Please give me your honest thoughts. Thank you!

I feel obliged to respond to this but I genuinely don’t know what to say. I think it’s because you’re addressing something so upsetting in such a casual manner. Almost as if you’re saying, “I don’t mind if you hate me, guys, but do you mind if I ask why?” Bless you, man. I feel the same way about all Muslims. 
I can only assume that you may have had a bad experience at the hands of culture? I know some cultures can exclude people who are not of ‘their own’ from their social circles and what not. But that’s nothing to do with religion.
If any Muslim feels differently towards reverts, they have some serious problems to address before they meet their Creator. If anything, my levels of respect are significantly higher for reverts and generally anyone who searches for the true path themselves.

As a Muslim convert of 7 years myself, I can honestly say, hand on heart, that I have never had any negativity directed towards me from the Muslim community. In fact, quite the opposite. Everybody has been incredibly welcoming, kind and genuinely interested in hearing about my journey to Islam. I have been embraced and nobody has ever made me feel out of place.
To be honest I dislike the way you asked this question and can’t imagine why a convert would be considered ‘annoying’!!

To be honest I get a bit too excited when I see a really new convert. Lool it sounds weird I should explain ; I feel like as they just became Muslim, their sins have been forgiven, they enter a new religion in a clean state, like a new page or even a new book. I find that exciting and think I can benefit from their enthusiasm. 
But I also think we’re all Muslims and we’re all in the same boat revert convert born Muslims who got a late wake up call or people who have always been religious... we all have ups and downs and should all help each other. (Don’t know why anyone would think that « converts are annoying » lol)

I can honestly say that I've never ever associated a revert to Islam with any negativity or especially found them annoying! it's actually really lovely to meet reverts - sometimes I'm not sure whether it's too personal to ask them about their journey to Islam if I don't know them too well - but again I'd never be dismissive or ignore someone because of this xx

When I meet reverts, I get a HUGE sense of happiness and joy overwhelm me. I'm so happy for them, and I really admire and respect them.
I'm really sorry if you've had any negative experiences, it really shouldn't happen.

I worked in a Islamic clothing and bookstore and would have new reverts come to our store and I would absolutely love when they came in. I feel as if a lot of community members take them for “ granted” let’s say, they over look them as “not my job” but is it our job as a Muslim to educate each other. 
You have to realize it’s a huge thing to go from one religion to another. It’s an internal struggle and contemplation that takes its time to grow and by them being new Muslims we should embrace them more so than others! 
You have just renounced yourself to a new way of life that doesn’t very much agree with the rest of this dunya, they need more support to see they’re people in this world that are willing to answer your questions and if not direct you in the proper way .
 I love reverts, I love seeing their Iman grow, from the way they dressed to the way they present themselves. Mashallah it’s such a beautiful thing to witness, and if I can have any hand in being a positive Islamic community member then heck yes I will do my best!
