Falling Off the Path

I’ve been in a relationship four months with a Muslim man, who moved here (United States) roughly six years ago.

If he knew I posted this he would be furious, he’s private. However, I have no one else to talk to, I don’t have girl friends that are Muslim to get advise from.

He believes completely in his religion but doesn’t:

- go to the masjid/pray

- participate in Ramadan

He smokes and has sex, I realize that I’m condoning the sex, but religion hasn’t been a part of my life. I did not take sex before marriage serious.

I’ve been trying to learn more about the religion for myself (with very little success- I have no idea where to start or who to talk to and feel comfortable with). But also because I want to be able to have discussions with him, make him think of Quran more.

I’m not sure if he resents me that I’m not Muslim like his last couple partners that he was to be married to.

I’m just not sure what else to do to help him back towards the right ways. Any advise would be welcome.
