Still love ex?

Is it possible or healthy to be in a new relationship and still love ex but not want them back?

Answer

I think that really depends on the situation. There are some people we are always going to love but know we cannot be with. So as long as you aren’t wanting to be with your ex anymore and aren’t going to do anything behind your new SO’s back, there shouldn’t be an issue. Just always be honest and upfront with your SO. Some people won’t be able to handle that, some will understand.

I’m not in a relationship currently but i can relate to not wanting them back. It’s normal. You’re not over your ex, but don’t want him back in the same way that he was before. It takes time to get over him, and for you and I, it hasn’t happened yet but i’m sure it’ll happen soon.
