Am I wrong for leaving a 5 Year relationship that was nothing but controlling, manipulative, insecurities, and disrespect. 
However l,My friends took their boyfriends back after they cheated & had sex with someone else. Am I not a ride or die? I felt like I wasn’t treated the way I was suppose to, & I wanted to move on.

No you are not!! I got out of a 3 year relationship for the same reasons. Even now after being broken up he’s still going to my family, friends, etc. to try to get me back. Or to talk to him so he can beg and plead and try to guilt trip me into getting back together with him. And every time I say no and stand firm, he gets mean, nasty, starts harassing me, etc.

Staying with someone who is disrespectful isn’t the norm nor is it acceptable.
I’m going to assume your friends are pretty young. Especially if they think being a “ride or die” is more important than their self worth. They’ll learn eventually.
