What to consider before moving with 2 kids

My husband and I are wanting to move either to a town that's close to where we are now or 2hrs away(where my dad lives). My husband brought up moving away but I'm unsure. 
What are some things to consider before moving with a 2yr old and a 3 months old? ( and not about the trip there)

No family to help with the kids or to see the kids (if you have family). How good the school system is. Crime rate. Things to do with kids where you will be moving. Cost of living/job availability.

I just moved to a new state 2 hours away with a 1.5 year old. It’s closer to family, we were previously in the situation of not having any help (and we were completely fine). Our biggest issue since moving has been daycare. We had to find a new daycare after leaving one that we absolutely loved. We had to do the physical for it all over again and that’s proven to be harder than necessary because the pediatrician in the new area wouldn’t do it saying it wouldn’t be covered by insurance and our old one was very hesitant and it took so many phone calls to get it done (probably more an issue with this office than moving though), and he needs to get a blood test done that wasn’t required in my old state. Daycare has been a mess. Other than that, we’ve had almost no issues with the kid. The first week here had some rough times because he missed his old routine and daycare friends (I’ve never felt as guilty as I did the day he started crying and saying a daycare kid’s name over and over) but I kept him busy and he quickly adjusted. Moving itself I had my sister stay the day and watch him while I helped my SO and my friends pack and unpack the truck, it wasn’t too bad.
