Struggling :(

Hey all! I'm 18 years old and about to start my first year of college. A couple of days ago my boyfriend went off to basic training for the army (July 3rd). I'm really anxious about the upcoming months of our relationship since I may not see him more than his graduation from bootcamp and a few days of leave after AIT. Either way, we've pretty much agreed that we will go back to being friends if he's stationed on the west coast (which he probably will 😞). He used to be such a big part of my routine and now I haven't heard anything at all. Any advice from military wives/girlfriends?
