RH blood testing & Rhogam shot?

So I have 0- blood, which means that I have to get RH blood testing done and a rhogam shot in my thigh muscle incase my baby has positive blood.
Has anybody else had to do this? How bad is a shot in the thigh muscle?

I had it with my daughter and will get it again this pregnancy. They gave me mine in my arm though 🤔 but it wasn't too bad.

I’m getting it Thursday and was wondering the same thing. Pregnancy sure is forcing me to get over my fear of needles😂

I had it in my arm, it wasn’t too bad- just like a normal shot.

I got it. But they gave it to me in my butt. It can go in any muscle. It’s a intramuscular injection. I suggest asking for it in the butt or arm cause it doesn’t hurt as bad!

I’ve had both mine for this pregnancy, both in my arm, doesn’t really hurt at all and no bruising either

It’s really not that painful. It was just like getting a regular shot to me.

It hurts, but you’ll live. You might bruise though.
