Help almost a year without sex😢

I’ve been married since October 2016

I’m 22 and my hubby is 29

My husband and I haven’t had any kind of sex since September 2017. That’s the month we found out I was pregnant, We were having some problems beforehand but sex has never been an issue but that’s when his whole attitude changed about me. He stopped telling me I looked pretty I tried to get him to have sex early in the pregnancy but he was still getting used to the idea that it won’t hurt the baby then I got told by my doc that I have placenta privara and i was put on pelvic rest from 16weeks- 30weeks then thank god it resolved it self but by then I was huge and he really wasn’t feeling it. Then I had my son 05/13/2018 and he’s a wonderful dad so loving and helpful but even once I was cleared at my 6 week appointment he’s not interested I’m not sure if it’s that my body has changed and I’m not attractive anymore or what but it’s taking a real toll on how I feel about myself and I wasn’t super confident to start with but now I just feel terrible he says he’s just figuring his stuff out and I have to wait but that he still loves me and wants us to work it out i just need some advice on what I can do or say to help the situation without begging for sex
