I'm getting an IUD next month and was wondering if anyone tests monthly for pregnancy because of how dangerous it can be. I almost feel like it would be silly. But.. Safety first right?

I do it, but not because of the danger, I do it so I can catch it early and get an abortion before it's too late

Dangerous? What do you mean by dangerous? I’ve taken a couple because it’s made my periods irregular and I haven’t had one in a couple months.

I’ve had mine for 3.5 years and I’ve never taken a test. 🤷🏼‍♀️
