Disappointing cervix check

I know things can change quickly, But I was looking for some change since my last cervix check to give me hope that there is an end in sight lol. The good news is I am healthy, baby is healthy, I did not gain any weight this past week, but the bad news is I was told today that they think this baby is staying put for a while 😩 The doc today said she thinks I'm only 20% effaced, not 50% Like I was told 2 weeks ago And only went from 1cm to 1.5 cm dilated in 2 weeks. She said in her experience mothers tend to follow their own trend and that she thinks I will either go on time or be late again. She said they wont consider Intervening/inducing until I'm 41+ since all is well, which means I could end up with a September baby!
