"The future is female"

How do you feel about this phrase?

Agree? Or find it nonsensical? I've both sides from friends but want to hear more opinions.

Decided I would give my opinion. I dont like this phrase at all. Women absolutely need more representation. I would live to see more women in roles predominantly ruled by men. Would never deny that. But to say the future is female? Aren't we striving for equality? Not to prove we are better. I get what the phrase is implying, but why are we not saying the future is equality? I dont want to sit here and work to prove that I am BETTER than a man. I just want it to be known that I am just as capable as any man. I want it to be known that any woman is just as capable as a man to take this world by storm. I dont want or need the future to be run by women. Lyrics like "Who run the world, Girls" make me cringe because why are we just trying to flip who "runs the world". Are we going to go from singing "This is mans world" to singing "This us a womans world"? Because in my opinion, that isnt a good thing. That doesnt ring equality. And that is the goal. The goal is equality. Recognition. Representation. Not superiority. And to me, phrases like "The future is female" doesnt portray that.
