does anybody believe in putting her baby to sleep without feeding them

my daughter is 4 months old and every single night since she's been born she has fed until she fell asleep I know things are supposed to change as they get older but I just cannot see her going to bed without eating being that my nipple is also her pacifier

my daughter has never fell asleep on her own unless she is on our shoulder and we are out doing something and only twice as she fell asleep in her swing but only for like an hour and a half

I disagree with that suggestion. I personally let my baby fall asleep on the boob if she wants. It’s comforting for her & that’s all I care about. 🤷🏼‍♀️

By 4 months we stopped feeding them to sleep. We would feed them then they go down in their crib awake and fall asleep. I don’t want them to rely on a bottle or pacifier to sleep.

My son is 11 months and still falls asleep on the bottle (previously breStfed so used to be boob) he can put himself to sleep for naps and put himself back to sleep in the middle of night. So far no problem for us! I think he just loves to go to sleep that way.

I nurse my 6mo son before every bedtime and every naptime. Sometimes he falls asleep but usually he is almost asleep and i switch my boob for his pacifier then he puts himself to sleep in his bed. I nursed my son to sleep everynight and ended up cosleeping until he was 1y8m old because he nursed so much throughout the night. I don't listen to most of the "rules" we're suppose to follow. I just go with the flow of what my baby wants/needs. EVERY baby is different.

We never did that with our baby girl. 
From the moment she came home we’ve been doing the eat, play, sleep method where we keep her awake for 30-60 mins after she eats. It helps with digestion and reduces tummy aches (she’s not had any at all and she’s 22 weeks now).
She breastfeeds for about 30 mins and we stay awake for 1+ hr and then put her down in her crib, in her own room (again from the day she came home). She’s bern sleeping through the night since she was 2.5 months and has not had any tummy aches.
She’s been on a 3 hr cycle (except for overnight where she sleeps 7-10 hrs). Eat for 30 mins, play for 60-80 mins and sleep the rest. Most of the time she falls asleep within 1-2 mins of being in my arms in her room, in the dark. If not I put her down and she puts herself to sleep (without crying).

My son has acid reflux and can’t hold more than 4 oz at a feed. He’s 8 months and has a bottle right before I put him in his crib or else he’d be awake in two hours. After he finishes feeding I still hold him. Sorry not sorry! He sleeps for 6 or more hours and can self soothe himself back to sleep. I rock him a few minutes before his naps too. You need to do what you need to do for your baby to be happy and comfortable.

I do usually with my daughter, but she can fall asleep without the boob as well. We always go to sleep while she nurses.
