Toddler bedtime schedule

How do y’all get your kids on one??😣 My three year old barely sleeps and I’m struggling! I have tried everything, and I can let him play his little heart out all day long, come bedtime he will still be running wide open. He starts school for the first time ever tomorrow and I really wanted him on a schedule before then but that’s obviously not happening anytime soon.

Before I started getting him ready for bed at 6:30pm and his actual bedtime was at 7:30pm. That used to work great for us, he wouldn’t give me any problems or anything and now he has days and nights mixed up so bad!
