Update... possible ectopic wait and see

So last Wednesday (5w 2d) I got some lighter pregnancy tests. Called the doc on Thursday and they had me go in for HCG blood work plus they added an HCG count to blood work I had last Monday. Friday I got the call that Mondays number was 425 and Thursday was 458. They’re concerned it’s ectopic so bad me do more blood work and an ultrasound today.

Today I’m 6 weeks. My number went to 672. On ultrasound they saw a sac of some sort in the uterus but aren’t sure. They can’t rule out an ectopic. She suggested medication to end the pregnancy, but I just couldn’t bring myself to do that. So we’re doing a wait and see. I’m going in for more blood work Wednesday and Friday and seeing the doctor Friday, plus another ultrasound on Monday. She said no strenuous activity and no sex, and to go straight to the ER if I have any bleeding.

I’m such a wreck right now. I’ve had no bleeding or cramps. I’m still having some morning sickness and breast tenderness. Trying to be hopeful but the doctor really had no hope.

I’m a teacher and school starts in two weeks. And I’m supposed to be planning my daughter’s second birthday party. This is the worst possible timing. I keep feeling like I’m going to go completely nuts. And simultaneously puke my guts out and shit my pants.
