Sex and pain

So me and my boyfriend have been having sex for a while and I’d forget to pee after sex and now I feel like peeing every 5 mins and it stings and it just so uncomfortable now i couldn’t sleep because of the itchiness, i know I can probably be having diabetes because my doctor said to lay off the sugar and I saw it was one of the symptoms is there anything I can do to make the pain go away because I dont know how to tell my mom I’ve had sex, help a girl out :(
