feeding schedule

idk why I cant get my LO on a feeding schedule and I only have 2.5 weeks till I go back to work! He is over 3 months so I know he is capable but I just cant find one that works. Somedays he eats 5oz every 4 hours and then the next day he wants to eat 3 ounces every 2 hours. I dont really care what his eating schedule is (obviously I'd rather 5 oz every 4 hours but I'd be okay with like 4oz every 3 hours). I just want him on one to make that transition to daycare run smoothly....any advice??
