Food ideas for a wedding?

Question

I’ve been going at it for weeks and weeks, and I cannot come up with anything that I like! 
Can someone please give me some ideas, what did you do at yours or plan to do at yours? 
It’s a sit down meal if that helps

When I planned my wedding, I planned all BBQ like corn in the Cob and a full pig roast beans potatoes salad,the wedding I planned was a backyard wedding

We had salmon in a creamy white wine sauce, roast pork or risotto. Puddings were apple crumble and custard or white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake. 
Later on we had a finger buffet and wedding cake.

My husband is from Mexico and we wanted to have a big Mexico themed wedding! We had our favorite restaurant cater chicken fajitas and all the sides and it was perfect! Everyone loved it.

At my wedding we had Italian food. Chicken and eggplant parm, baked ziti, some type of seafood pasta dish, veggie lasagna and salad. We had a small wedding so we just ordered party sized meals from a local Italian place, there was enough to feed about 30 people which was roughly how many people were at our wedding. Then we got pies, cheesecake and cupcakes from the grocery store (we had a fall wedding)

I just got married 7/27/18 and we had tacos beans and rice catered. I also had a nacho bar with meat, cheese, salsa, jalapeños! Everyone raved about how good the food was!

R u having it catered ? If so I would plan a tasting at a few places and find something u like that way. Some places have open house type parties where u can go taste the food and c the Venues offered. A lot of places have set menus for I to choose from with tons of options so u can pick from that.

just catered a wedding with chicken Alfredo, garlic bread, smothered chicken, salmon,mac n cheese,greens, mashed potatoes, corn bread,spinach dip, buffalo dip, veggie tray, and fruit tray....

We had Greek chicken, lemon potatoes, steamed veggies, roast beef, and Greek and Caesar salad. For dessert we had pie and wedding cake.
