Side effects of Monistat

Ok a little back story last weekend I went to see my FWB for a day, we had some fun but the day after I came home I started getting super irritated. First I thought well I have had sex in a while I could be having a rxn to his cum etc, I showered really good, and waited it only got worse. I started looking at just checking things out and no discharge but if felt like I had a yeast infection, I went and got Monistat for 1 day that had the cream and wipes. I used it and each day since have felt better, well today I was like let me check and see and now it looks like my skin is shedding down there on my labia, the areas surrounding are a little white, and the areas that look like they are shedding are small round circles.

I freaked out and started looking up side effects for Monistat and they said those were side effects, I’m just wondering if anyone else that used Monistat had something like this happen and if so what did you do and how long did it last?
