When to tell family?!?

So my EDD is May 5, I’m 4 +5 as of today. My first Dr appointment is on Wednesday, and I’m not expecting much. I’m anticipating my first ultrasound to be between 8-10 weeks but I’m not sure I can wait that long to tell our families, when did you tell yours?

This is a personal preference. I told my mom right away but because of my previous pregnancy experience I won’t be telling any of my other family until after 20 weeks

I told my family 2 days after my bfp with my son and then 4w with my second and third pregnancies. We're waiting until 2nd trimester because I'm not going through that again- but it really is personal preference!

I tell close family when we have a positive test, but i don’t my children or people outside of grandparents and siblings until after the first trimester. This time I think we’ll wait longer out of preference, but that’s what I’ve done in the past.
