Baby stroller for infants ?

Which is the best stroller for infant in your opinion and why

For us - we cannot decide between Chicco Activ3 and Peg Perego GT3

Do you also think that buying a Trio Set is cost effective than buying just a stroller, carry cot and car seat separately

I like the strollers that you can click an infant carseat into, that's why we bought a graco travel system stroller and carseat combo, I know other brands do similar things. That way you don't have to unsnap and transfer baby, just click the carseat into the stroller, or out of the stroller and into the secured car base, and back again. :-)

If you can, what helped us was visiting the babies r us nearby and just playing with all their stroller models for a half hour. I liked the graco one I chose because I didn't need help getting it to fold up, open and secure, and place or remove the carseat.

Just stay away from anything foam! Uppa baby is currently being recalled for this. Plus foam handles deteriorate quickly. We personally went for the city select. I have worked with at least a dozen strollers as a nanny. Look for large non plastic wheels these are hard to use after a few months plus they just hard to use anywhere but a well paved surface.

Have you had a chance to "test drive" them at a store. It's best to go see how heavy they are and exactly how they work before committing. If you have a Buy Buy Baby near you, go there, they are extremely knowledgeable about their products.

I prefer umbrella strollers so what we're doing is just getting the Graco stroller frame for the car seat to snap into. Then when she's old enough we'll get a nice umbrella stroller because I've found them to be more useful. I still have the maclaren stroller from my 2 oldests but I think it's  time for a new one. It's been an awesome stroller, it's lasted through 2 kids in 8 years. Still has a lot of use left too.
