As a parent, would you find this unacceptable?

In the UK the drinking age is 18 but we can legally drink at 16 at a pub or restaurant with a meal (only cider and wine) if an adult is present, or younger than 16 if you’re in your own home with adults permission.

I’m 17 and my coworkers are harassing me to go to a Christmas meal with them in December. I don’t want to for multiple reasons, two big ones being I don’t like them and don’t celebrate Christmas 😂

Well anyway they’re bribing me by saying they will order me alcohol there. I don’t drink anyway so that isn’t convincing me lol.

I just wanted to see if you guys thought this was acceptable. Yes it’s legal, but would you be okay with that as a parent, without them even asking for your permission?
