Nov. baby born in Sept.

31 weeks and 4 days. Just a normal day. Doing laundry, hanging out, I fall asleep. I woke up to a really bad cramp. Let it pass, tried to sleep, 2 minutes go by and it happens again. I get up and leave my sister's to go home and tell my fiance. Contractions back to back and they're getting worse pretty fast. I go in and wake him up to tell him I might have to go get checked. We have 2 other children sleeping, so I drive myself to the hospital and tell him I'll call when I get something back from the doctor. Went in, got checked, boom....6 cm dilated and my bag is bulging. A few shots and oral meds to stop the labor...nothing helped. 8 cm now and my water is ready to burst. They hook it and...splash! That was at 6:46 AM. 2 and a half pushes, and 4 minutes later, Mr. Elliot entered the world at 6:50AM.

Out of nowhere. He is our preemie prince now and is doing very well for a 31 weeker. 4 pounds even and 16.5 inches. He came a lot earlier than planned, and this will be a huge journey for us, but we know he's a champ. He will be home before we know it. ♡♡
