OPK Testing Time?

So the box says I should wait 4 hours before testing but I can rarely hold it that long and it also says not to use the first pee of the morning!? I haven’t seen a positive/LH surge yet and I’m hoping it’s not because the sample is dilute... I’m in my fertile week now, second month TTC 😍 When are you all doing the opk test?

I noticed that I get my darkest line around noon so that’s the first time I test and then test again around 6pm. I am of course using the bathroom throughout the day but I will hold it for at least 2 hours. I got a blazing positive yesterday both at noon and around 8pm (tested late). Some women have longer surges and some have very short surges so you just have to keep testing to find out where you fall in all that
